Sean   Daniel J. "D.J." Reynolds Jr.

D.J. was born in Myrtle Beach, SC. Growing up in a military family, he moved around the Southeast, before his family settled in the Charleston, South Carolina area.

After graduating from high school in Goose Creek, South Carolina, D.J. attended Charleston Southern University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (emphasis accounting), magna cum laude, in June 1999. In 2003 D.J. graduated from the College of William and Mary in Virginia earning both his law degree and a Masters in Business Administration. During Law School, D.J. was a member of the William and Mary Law Review and was honored as the American College of Bankruptcy's gifted student for the Fourth Circuit. Upon graduation from law school, D.J. was selected as the College of William and Mary's recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute's Academic Award of Excellence.

D.J. regularly represents complex individual and business clients of varying sizes, including representation of debtors, creditors, creditor committees, and other plan-appointed representatives. D.J. has represented clients in many of the largest and most complex chapter 11 bankruptcies in the District of South Carolina since beginning practice in 2003.  D.J. regularly speaks at South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association continuing legal education seminars, including topics on single asset real estate cases, anatomy of a chapter 11, involuntary bankruptcies, and contemporary issues in chapter 11. D.J. has also been a guest speaker to classes at the University of South Carolina School of Law. D.J. also volunteers his time through the South Carolina Bar's Pro Bono Program and the Bankruptcy Court's Ask-a-Lawyer program.

D.J. is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Richland County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. D.J. is recognized as a specialist in the fields of Bankruptcy Law and Debtor-Creditor Rights by the South Carolina Supreme Court and has been awarded certification in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification.

Personal Details
In his spare time, D.J. enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha, and his son, Ethan. D.J. is also an avid deer hunter and a sports enthusiast.
